DHC Cleansing Oil (Disney Edition x Japan)

I'm late reviewing about this product. But my goodness, I think I'm in love. This DHC cleansing oil which has collaborated with Japan to produce a Disney series is totally adorable.

I only came across it recently and found that other people have been using it for ages. I still wanted to review it anyway.

But so far this cleanser has been doing my skin the world of good. It's actually benefiting my skin because I have naturally oily skin. It doesn't leave your skin oilier than it already is. I find that it leaves me feeling fresher and helps my pores. As the cleanser is very rich in antioxidants such as olive and rosemary oil. Plus it's packed with vitamin E helping your skin against dirt, while conditioning, replenishing and loving your skin.

What I like to do is take a small bit of this oil in a bowl, heat it up in the microwave making sure it's luke warm and putting it on my skin. I like to leave it for around  5-10 minutes at the most before washing it off. It feel so good and refreshing in the end.

It's worth investing if your everyday cleanser isn't doing you any favours. But you are most likely to see changes with the DHC cleanser by a long shot. In a matter of days it will have you glowing!

It's available here on YesStyle for just £8.46.

Love Style Life by Garance Doré (book review)

Okay so I invested in buying this wonderful book by French photographer, Illustrator and author, Garance Doré.

Now I have seen her name pop up a few times on other blogs previously, but other than that I didn't have much of a clue about her. In her book she often comes across as a lovely, warm and funny woman. I am pleased to have gotten to know her!

She was once a struggling artist from Corsica, sharing her childhood and tells us how she dropped out of school. Eventually Doré manages to find her place in the world, becomes an online blogger and eventually finds success.

I like how she passes down her wisdom and experiences on to her readers. Doré really does push you to strive not only for style but to be lovely, clever and unstoppable as a woman. She's very admirable. Plus I found it very motivating actually. I felt great after reading this!

Recently I have been getting more into fashion books, slowly and the more I buy them, I begin to appreciate not only beauty and fashion. But the work put into them. The layouts, type and content are equally as important.

As a student studying graphic design I'm realizing this more often. Presentation is the key. However this book lives up to all my expectations. I'm in love with the text, type, beautiful imagery and colour scheme alone. The illustrations are so adorable too. I actually felt like this novel was more magazine than a book.

The book offers great advice, good life lessons to take in. Also she gives you many girly tips and tricks. It's like listening to a big sister or a cool friend!

It's a very fun, light and inspiring read. I highly recommend this to any fashion blogger or anyone who is genuinely interested!

Valentino Donna EDP 50ml

This was actually a Christmas present and I forgot to review it!
I first saw this in Glamour magazine which was on offer for £1. So like most young women, I just threw it into my shopping basket. During reading I saw an advert with one of those little free samples, I have heard about this perfume before and I decided to just give it a quick smell. I was in love seconds later. I had to invest.

So this fragrance is quite new to the market. Besides being a gorgeous perfume, it's a current favourite. I find it's very heavy and the type to last literally hours on end. I'd say around five at the most. Also I'm not sure if it's just me but I found that this scent has a somewhat coffee or a creamy undertone to it. Plus a small tinge of citrus and vanilla. It's a delicious mix.

The packaging is gorgeous. I'm really into my pinks and anything pretty so it's just automatically appealing to me. I love the vintage shabby chic appearance the bottle has, it has a very classic touch. The type you would display on your vanity table or find in your grandmother's drawers! I'm very pleased with this new addition to my perfume collection.

If you're into floral-creamy scents then I would try this out. It's worth a whiff!
